Light Art Display on the Delaware River - Washington Crossing Historic Park
The public is invited to witness a free, once-in-a-lifetime display of General Washington’s daring crossing of the Delaware River on Saturday, September 16 at Washington Crossing Historic Park (PA). Beginning shortly after 7PM, world-renowned Swiss artist Gerry Hofstetter (pictured) and his team of lighting experts will project an array of images of the Crossing onto an 80-by-30-foot “water shield” created by a pump that will be carried out into the river aboard one of the park’s Durham boats.
