Round up your family or friends for a spirited colonial competition at Colonial Field Day on Saturday, July 6 from 10:00-11:30 AM and 1:00-2:30 PM. As part of its annual Independence Day celebration, Washington Crossing Historic Park invites classic car owners to compete in the fifth annual Rebels & Redcoats Classic Car Show on Sunday, July 7 from 10 AM to 2 PM. This unique show features American, French, British and German cars, representing the four countries involved in the Revolutionary War. For 2024 the park is offering a special program specifically designed for elementary-age students ages 7-12. Lecture- Colin Zimmerman – Lafayette and Bucks County

In 1824 the Marquis de Lafayette returned to America for a tour that reunited him with many of his fellow Revolutionary War veterans.  In September 1824, while en route to New York, he travelled through Bucks County - a place he'd been many times during the war.  To mark the bicentennial of his return military historian Colin Zimmerman will explore Lafayette's legacy and the time he spent in Bucks County during the revolution.

Fall 2024 Lantern Tours

Learn about the Crossing during the time of day it actually occurred by taking a Lantern Tour of Washington Crossing Historic Park this October! Tours will take place every Friday and Saturday in October at 6:30 and 7:30 PM. They will include a living history presentation on the conditions the men would have faced the night of the Crossing. This tour lasts about 1 hour and covers the conditions and history of the crossing, as well as the three battles that follow it, the battles of Trenton and the Battle of Princeton.
