The Historic Village

The Historic Village is the heart of Washington Crossing Historic Park and the site of many modern-day programs, including the reenactment of George Washington’s river crossing. This area includes the McConkey Ferry Inn (pictured), where Washington likely planned the crossing.

Regular Season Tours: Guided tours are $7 per person. Tours are offered every day at 10:30 AM, 11:30 AM, 12:30 PM, 1:30 PM, 2:30 PM and 3:30 PM. The grounds are open from dawn to dusk for free self-guided tours. Group tours of 15 or more are available by appointment only. Tour tickets may be purchased online through Visit Bucks County.

Winter Tours: January through mid-March, guided tours are offered on Saturdays and Sundays only, weather permitting. Tours begin at 10:30 AM, 11:30 AM, 12:30 PM, 1:30 PM, 2:30 PM and 3:30 PM. Guided tours are $7 per person. The Historic Village grounds are open every day from dawn to dusk for free self-guided tours.

The Thompson-Neely Farmstead

The Thompson-Neely House served as a temporary regimental army hospital during Washington’s winter campaign of 1776-77. Once the centerpiece of a working farm and milling complex, the house is surrounded by outbuildings typical of 18th century farm life, including a smokehouse, chicken coop, and a fully-functional grist mill.

Thompson-Neely Regular Season Tours: Guided tours are $7 per person. Tours are offered every day from 10 AM to 4 PM. Group tours of 15 or more are available by appointment only. Tour tickets may be purchased online through Visit Bucks County.

Thompson-Neely Winter Tours: The Thompson-Neely House is closed from January through mid-March.

Bowman’s Hill Tower

Rising 125 feet in the air, Bowman’s Hill Tower is a favorite destination for locals and tourists alike. On a clear day, the tower offers a stunning 14-mile bird’s-eye view of the surrounding countryside and Delaware River.

Bowman’s Hill Tower Regular Season Admission: Tickets to climb to the top of Bowman’s Hill Tower are $7 per person. The tower is open every day from 10 AM to 4 PM, weather permitting. Tickets may be purchased online through Visit Bucks County.

Bowman’s Hill Tower Winter Admission: Bowman’s Hill Tower is closed from January through mid-March.

Discounts and Group Tours

A discounted combination ticket for all three locations is available for $15. Tickets may be purchased at any of the three locations or online through Visit Bucks County.

Complimentary tickets are provided to active duty military personnel and children under the age of five.
