An Evening with Nathaniel Philbrick

October 17, 2018 @ 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm

$50 – $80

New York Times bestselling author Nathaniel Philbrick will appear at Washington Crossing Historic Park on Wednesday, October 17 at 7:30 PM for a lecture, Q&A, and signing of his new book, In the Hurricane’s Eye: The Genius of George Washington and the Victory at Yorktown.

Ticket options are:

  • $50 for admission for one person and one signed book
  • $80 for admission for two people and one signed book

Philbrick’s latest tells the story of the remarkable year leading up to the siege of Yorktown. It sets Washington against his traitorous nemesis, Benedict Arnold, and places him in impossible situations and constant acrimonious negotiations with his French allies. A riveting and wide-ranging narrative full of dramatic turns, In the Hurricane’s Eye reveals that the fate of the American Revolution depended, in the end, on Washington and the sea.

This special event is co-hosted by the non-profit Friends of Washington Crossing Park and The David Library of the American Revolution, both of which will receive a portion of the proceeds from ticket sales.

At the request of the publisher, the author will only sign books purchased through this event, from the gift shop in the Washington Crossing Historic Park Visitor Center, or from Farley’s Bookshop in New Hope, PA (receipt required).
