Monthly Living History Programs

To provide our community with more opportunities to experience the rich history that took place here we’ve launched a series of free monthly living history programs that bring the 18th century to life year round.

These events showcase both military and civilian stories, offering visitors of all ages a chance to engage with the people, places, and moments that defined this pivotal era. Whether it’s learning about daily life in a colonial kitchen or hearing the commands of a Continental soldier, each program is designed to deepen understanding and appreciation for the history that unfolded right here at Washington Crossing.

This exciting project was brought to life thanks to the generous support of America250PA, Americana Corner, and the National Endowment for the Humanities.

Completed: May 2024 (Programs and Program Enhancements Ongoing)
