The Visitor Center at Washington Crossing Historic Park is your gateway to exploring the stories, landscapes, and legacy of this historic site. Conveniently located near the main entrance of the park, the Visitor Center is the best place to begin your experience.

Inside, you’ll find:

  • Park information, maps, and friendly staff to help plan your visit
  • Engaging exhibits that bring Revolutionary history to life
  • A short orientation film about Washington’s daring 1776 crossing and the Ten Crucial Days
  • Tickets for guided tours
  • A museum shop featuring books, gifts, local artisan items, and other park and Revolutionary inspired souvenirs.

The Visitor Center also includes a 248-seat auditorium used for films, concerts, lectures, and community events. A highlight of the space is a full-size replica of Emanuel Leutze’s famous painting Washington Crossing the Delaware.

Museum Shop Hours:

Open daily, 10:00 AM – 4:30 PM

The Visitor Center is fully ADA-accessible. All public areas are located on a single floor with accessible entrances and restrooms.

Holiday Closures:

The Visitor Center and park sites are closed on the following holidays:

  • New Year’s Day (January 1)
  • Martin Luther King Jr. Day (third Monday in January)
  • Indigenous Peoples’ Day (second Monday in October)
  • Thanksgiving Day (fourth Thursday in November)
  • Day after Thanksgiving
  • Christmas Eve (closes at 1:00 PM)
  • New Year’s Eve (closes at 1:00 PM)
