Staff Spotlight: Guy Sava

  A dedicated history buff, our Visitor Services Coordinator Gaetano “Guy” Sava III has been lending his knowledge and skills to Washington Crossing Park for over 12 years. It all began when he chose renovations on Bowman’s Hill Tower for his Eagle Scout Project after extensive research. Unfortunately, Hurricane Sandy put a damper on things and he took up working in the gift shop instead. Staff Spotlight: Ross Heutmaker

Ross has been a valued member of the educational programs team at Washington Crossing Historic Park since 2016 and currently serves as our Director of Education. A passionate educator and historian, he brings a deep understanding of program development, interpretation, and hands-on learning to everything he does. Prior to stepping into his current role, Ross served as Farmstead Manager at the Thompson-Neely Farm, where he played a key role in shaping many of the park’s signature programs. Staff Spotlight: Anna Davis

  A lover of all things nature and history, Anna is the perfect fit as the park’s Historical Horticulturist. She first joined the park in 2014 as a volunteer and quickly grew her role into a full-time position three months later. Since then, she’s helped bring life to our park, growing an extensive kitchen garden and meticulously caring for all of our plants and flowers. After receiving her bachelor’s degree in anthropology from the University of Delaware, Anna went on to earn her master’s in herbal medicine from the Maryland University of Integrative Health.
