Monthly Living History August 2025
August 9 @ 11:00 am - 3:00 pm
Join us each month as historical interpreters and reenactors bring a piece of history to life at Washington Crossing Historic Park. Each month’s program will run from 11-3, and will cover various aspects on military life during the American Revolution. The programs will take place on the 2nd Saturday of each month April – September. There is no admission or registration, all you have to do is show up and be ready to learn something new!
This month’s program will feature artillery! Cannon were an integral part of the forces of both sides of the revolution, providing fire support to the infantry, and able to bombard fixed positions and ships. Our reenactors will be drilling with and maintaining their pieces, and will discuss the role of artillery, how it was worked and moved, and why the Continental relied upon Artillery for its success.
