A Virtual Party for George Washington’s Birthday
February 14, 2021 @ 1:00 pm - 1:30 pm
FreeHelp us celebrate George Washington’s 289th birthday!
Virtual Birthday Party
Join us for a virtual celebration of George Washington’s 289th birthday on Sunday, February 14, from 1 to 1:30 PM. Sing “Happy Birthday” to General Washington, show him your homemade card or drawing, and enjoy dessert with him if you’d like. At the end, George Washington will take questions from children in the audience, so be sure to think of a good question!
The party is free and will be held on Zoom. Capacity is limited, and registration is required to participate.
Zoom meeting details are sent to you in a confirmation email as soon as you register. The email comes from FareHarbor – please save that email so that you have the Zoom link.
If you don’t see that confirmation email in your inbox, check your junk/spam folder. If 24 hours pass and you still don’t see that email, please write to info@washingtoncrossingpark.org and we’ll look into your registration. We will have limited ability to help you on February 14, so don’t delay.
Free Activity Kits
This year, families are also invited to stop by the Visitor Center at Washington Crossing Historic Park (PA) to pick up free activity kits for your children. Kits are intended for children ages 6-12. Your budding historian can fashion a cocked hat, crack a spy code, write in invisible ink, play a colonial cup and ball game, and create a refrigerator-worthy picture of George Washington and his mythical cherry tree.
Activity kits are available throughout the month of February and are first-come, first-served. Kits cannot be shipped/mailed.
