Independence Day Celebration: Colonial Field Day

Round up your family or friends for a spirited colonial competition! At Colonial Field Day on Saturday, July 3, you'll be pitted against other socially distanced groups. Try your hand at playing some popular games and activities from the 18th century, including cup and ball, Jacob's Ladder, hoop and stick, graces, and more! Competitions are set for 10 to 11:30 AM and 1 to 2:30 PM. This event is free, but all groups are required to register by emailing kbecnel@washingtoncrossingpark.org. Rebels & Redcoats Classic Car Show 2021

As part of its annual Independence Day celebration, Washington Crossing Historic Park invites classic car owners to compete in the third Rebels & Redcoats Classic Car Show on Saturday, July 3, 2021 from 10 AM to 2 PM. This unique show features only American, French, British and German cars, representing the four countries involved in the Revolutionary War. Classic show-condition cars from model years 1996 and earlier are welcome. Cost to register each car is $25 online (plus service fee) or $35 on-site. There is no fee to attend as a spectator. Independence Day Celebration: Living History Day

Celebrate Independence Day by bringing the whole family back in time—to July 4, 1776! At Washington Crossing Historic Park, you can watch living historians demonstrate their crafts, tour the buildings in the Historic Village, and see a military encampment from noon to 4 PM on Sunday, July 4. A highlight of the day will be readings of the Declaration of Independence at 12:30 PM, 1:30 PM, 2:30 PM and 3:30 PM.
