Remake Learning Days! Stream Discovery Day

Let’s see what we can catch in the creek! Historic Pidcock Creek was and still is the main source of power for the historic Thompson-Neely Grist Mill. Grab your stream shoes and team up with the Park Naturalist for a morning of watershed education on Thursday, May 19 from 10 AM - noon! Help identify the aquatic insects and other creatures that live within the creek. Nets will be provided, but you can bring your own! Water shoes/boots must be worn at all times. Healthy Hike

Hiking is a great way to improve your physical and mental health! On Friday, May 20 from 10 AM - 11:30 AM, join the park naturalist for a quickly paced 2 mile hike along the trails of WCHP. Please keep in mind that these hikes are intended to maintain a quick hiking pace. Prepare yourself for the day by bringing a full water bottle, wearing sturdy shoes, and dressing for the weather! Delaware River Kayaking

Team up with the Park Naturalist for a fun float in a kayak down the Delaware River on Saturday, May 28 from noon - 3 PM! After an on-land strategy and safety session, participants will launch from the northern most point of Washington Crossing Historic Park and kayak 5 miles to the Visitor Center with assistance from the Park Naturalist. Kayaks, PFDs, and paddles will be supplied. Registration is required. Participants must be 12 years or older.
