May 9th, 2025 News and Events

In preparation for the park’s 250th anniversary in 2026, the Friends of Washington Crossing Park (FWCP) are excited to welcome Bryanna Galvan as its new Director of Development.

In this role, Bryanna will lead the FWCP development team in expanding fundraising efforts with a focus on long-term sustainability and deepening community engagement. She is responsible for implementing a comprehensive development strategy that includes individual giving, major gifts, corporate sponsorships, grants, and partnerships with private foundations.

Bryanna joined FWCP in April 2025, bringing a proven track record in nonprofit fundraising and corporate engagement. Prior to this role, she served as Senior Associate of Corporate Engagement at Cradles to Crayons, where was a lead ambassador for corporate partners, supporting the organization’s mission to provide essential everyday items to children from low-income communities.

She has also worked with several local educational and social service nonprofits experiences that have further deepened her passion for mission-driven work.

Bryanna holds dual bachelor’s degrees in Business Management and Business Marketing from Rosemont College and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Nonprofit Leadership at La Salle University, where she also serves as a graduate assistant of The NonProfit Center, gathering essential feedback to help improve the program.

When asked what she finds most rewarding about her work, Bryanna shared:
“I love researching, sharing, and preserving important moments in American history. My own passion for history began as a student learning about the Chicano movement. It is an honor to be part of an amazing team dedicated to educating visitors on 18th-century civilian and military life and how pivotal and inspiring Washington’s Crossing was. Stewarding this important site and preserving stories that shaped our community and our country is deeply rewarding—especially as America prepares for its 250th anniversary in 2026.”

In her freetime, Bryanna enjoys crafting, hiking, and gardening. As a proud Hispanic woman from a large family, she treasures time spent with loved ones and draws inspiration from her roots. Her commitment to uplifting community voices and preserving local history is sparked by her own cultural heritage and lifelong passion for giving back.
