Attic Treasures Sale

June 14 @ 10:00 am - 4:00 pm

Mark your calendar! The first-ever Attic Treasures Sale will take place on Saturday, June 14, 2025, from 10 AM to 4 PM in the heart of our Historic Village in the lower park. This exciting new event will be held in the newly renovated Taylorsville Store just before the bridge on Route 532. The store once housed the Patriot Gift Shoppe, which can now be found in the Visitor Center. Be sure to check out both during your visit!

Built around 1828 by Mahlon Taylor, the original general store served as the heart of the Taylorsville community. Like many stores of the era, it was more than just a place to shop—it was where neighbors exchanged news, posted notices, picked up their mail, and stayed connected. Mahlon Taylor himself served as postmaster here for nearly 40 years, offering essential goods and services to canal workers, tradesmen, and local families.

As you browse through vintage finds in this lovingly restored area, you’ll also be walking through a stretch of buildings that played a vital role in 19th-century village life.

Held in tandem with McConkey’s Market—our beloved open-air tradition that draws thousands of shoppers each year—this new sale offers the perfect opportunity to uncover unique items, timeless décor, and gently loved treasures donated by members of the local community. Expect a thoughtfully curated mix of antiques, artwork, china, home furnishings, small furniture, collectibles, and more. All proceeds benefit the Friends of Washington Crossing Park.

Looking to donate? Drop-offs are welcome at the Visitor Center (1112 River Road, Washington Crossing, PA 18977) during the following hours—no appointment needed:

  • Monday through Friday, 10 AM–3 PM
  • Saturday, 10 AM–12 PM

Please note: We cannot accept books, blankets, clothing, or upholstered furniture. For large item consideration, email a photo to info@washingtoncrossingpark.org. In-kind donation acknowledgments are available upon request.

Spend the day shopping for one-of-a-kind pieces, exploring McConkey’s Market, enjoying live music, sampling delicious food, and supporting the park—all in one unforgettable day.
