Friday Evening Bushcraft Skills: Cordage

July 2, 2021 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Free

“Cordage” is another name for a style of rope or twine, and you can make it with plants in your backyard. On Friday, July 2 at 6 PM, stop by the Greene Pavilion for a quick lesson on plant identification before you try your hand at natural cordage making.

This open demonstration does not require registration. If you have any questions, please email park naturalist Matt Truesdale at mtruesdale@pa.gov.

Additional bushcraft demonstrations will be held throughout the month of July. Come learn about foraging on Friday, July 9 at 6 PM and matchless fire on Friday, July 16 at 6 PM.
