Corinne earned her bachelor’s degree in history from Moravian University in Bethlehem, PA in 2019. A passionate educator and reenactor, she first joined the park in 2020 as a Historical Interpreter, working on the front line with our Visitor Services Team. Her enthusiasm for program development and commitment to delivering high-quality, immersive educational experiences quickly led her to become a lead interpreter for school programs and public events, making her an invaluable member of the educational programming team.
In her new role, Corinne will play a vital part in planning and coordinating educational programs, as well as recruiting and training volunteers for interpretive programs that reach thousands of visitors each year.
These programs include our popular hands-on Colonial Days field trip program and major public events such as Washington’s Birthday, the Fourth of July Living History Program, Colonial Field Day, and the First and Christmas Crossing reenactments. She also contributes to the site’s ongoing living history interpretation for other seasonal programs and special events throughout the year.
Corinne is especially passionate about hands-on education and bringing history to life through engaging demonstrations and interpretation. When asked about the most fulfilling part of her work, Corinne shared, “I enjoy designing programs that not only educate but also build lasting connections within the community, especially the ones that engage community members as reenactors and volunteers,” she says. “I am always amazed at how much time, energy, and dedication folks are willing to give.”
Outside of work, Corinne enjoys historical reenacting of both the Revolutionary War and Great War eras as well as playing the fiddle, sewing, and tending to her tea garden. Her hobbies often complement her work at the park, enriching the immersive experiences she helps create for visitors.
