You’ll spend the day retracing the December 25 crossing of the Delaware and the American and British military engagements that followed at Trenton, Princeton and areas in-between from December 26, 1776 through January 3, 1777. Each December, thousands of people gather on the banks of the Delaware River to watch the reenactment of George Washington’s daring 1776 Christmas night river crossing.
