At Washington Crossing Historic Park, you can watch living historians demonstrate their crafts and see a military encampment from noon to 4 PM on Thursday, July 4. Round up your family or friends for a spirited colonial competition at Colonial Field Day on Saturday, July 6 from 10:00-11:30 AM and 1:00-2:30 PM. Try your hand at playing some popular games from the 18th century, including cup and ball, Jacob’s Ladder, hoop and stick, and more! The winning family will receive a family membership to the Friends of Washington Crossing Park. As part of its annual Independence Day celebration, Washington Crossing Historic Park invites classic car owners to compete in the sixth annual Rebels & Redcoats Classic Car Show on Sunday, July 7 from 10 AM to 2 PM. Hiking is a great way to improve your physical and mental health! Join the park naturalist for a quickly paced 2 mile hike along the trails of WCHP. Please keep in mind that these hikes are intended to maintain a quick hiking pace. Prepare yourself for the day by bringing a full water bottle, wearing sturdy shoes, and dressing for the weather!
