Try your hand at cooking—the colonial way! On June 24 from 10 AM to 3 PM, prepare and cook a seasonal meal and dessert using the Hibbs’ House hearth and 18th century kitchen tools and techniques. Once the food is prepared, enjoy the meal together on 18th century dishware.

This class is limited to only 8 participants ages 14 and older. Cost is $55 per person and includes all food, equipment and instruction. To register and pay, please stop by the Visitor Center or call 215-493-4076.

Food will be prepared with period-accurate ingredients, including flour and eggs. Please wear comfortable closed-toe shoes, as we’ll be standing and doing a little bit of heavy lifting. You may also want to bring along an apron and your own knife.
