Peer through a telescope atop what may be one of the best vantage points for stargazing in all of Bucks County.

Join the Friends of Washington Crossing Park and a local astronomer for a night of stargazing atop Bowman’s Hill Tower on September 28 from 7:30 to 9:30 PM.

Telescopes will be provided, and viewings are limited to 15-minute periods. Registration is full; only guests who have registered with the Visitor Center may attend.

Rain/cloud date is October 5.

The Friends of Washington Crossing Park, a non-profit formed in 2009 to save the crossing reenactment in the wake of state budget cuts, is turning 10. In honor of the anniversary, the Friends are hosting 10 free events at Washington Crossing Historic Park (PA) over 10 months in 2019. Here’s the current schedule of events.
