Join us each month as historical interpreters and reenactors bring a piece of history to life at Washington Crossing Historic Park. Each month's program will run from 11-3, and will cover various aspects on military life during the American Revolution. The programs will take place on the 2nd Saturday of each month April - September. There is no admission or registration, all you have to do is show up and be ready to learn something new! Join us the 4th Friday of each month from 11:00am – 3:00pm, this May to September to learn about life on the Thompson-Neely Farmstead. In the 18th Century much of Bucks County was cultivated farmland, with a wide variety of activities required to keep them running. Learn about the Crossing during the time of day it actually occurred by taking a Lantern Tour of Washington Crossing Historic Park this fall! Tours will take place every Friday and Saturday in October at 6:30 and 7:30 PM. They will include a living history presentation on the conditions the men would have faced the night of the Crossing. This tour lasts about 1 hour and covers the conditions and history of the crossing, as well as the three battles that follow it, the battles of Trenton and the Battle of Princeton. |
