Celebrate Independence Day by bringing the whole family back in time—to July 4, 1776! At Washington Crossing Historic Park, you can watch living historians demonstrate their crafts and see a military encampment from noon to 4 PM on Thursday, July 4. A highlight of the day will be readings of the Declaration of Independence at 12:30 PM, 1:30 PM, 2:30 PM and 3:30 PM. Local Harvest Pizza and Rita's Ice will be onsite. Round up your family or friends for a spirited colonial competition at Colonial Field Day on Saturday, July 6 from 10:00-11:30 AM and 1:00-2:30 PM. Try your hand at playing some popular games from the 18th century, including cup and ball, Jacob’s Ladder, hoop and stick, and more! As part of its annual Independence Day celebration, Washington Crossing Historic Park invites classic car owners to compete in the sixth annual Rebels & Redcoats Classic Car Show on Sunday, July 7 from 10 AM to 2 PM. Spectators need not register or purchase tickets thanks to our Presenting Sponsor, Contemporary Corvette! This unique show features American, French, British and German cars, representing the four countries involved in the Revolutionary War.
