Learn the art of tying fishing flies and discover stream ecology! Catching a fish on a hand tied fly that you tied can be an extremely rewarding experience! Join the Park Naturalist for basic fly tying instruction and some watershed education, every Wednesday evening in February from 6:00pm - 7:30pm. As a bird box volunteer, you will be part of the PA State Park Cavity Nesting Program team, whose aim is to provide habitat for declining cavity-nesting populations. The Kiwanis Club of Washington Crossing will host a free Easter Egg Hunt for the community on Saturday, April 2 at 10 AM across from the park's Visitor Center. Children of all ages are welcome and participants will be separated into four age groups to ensure everyone has a chance to hunt.
