On Tuesday, Tuesday March 29 from 9 AM - 3:30 PM, Educators in South-East PA are invited join the Environmental Education Specialists of Delaware Canal State Park and Washington Crossing Historic Park at the Buckstone Farm in Washington Crossing, PA for a free teacher workshop. This workshop is for formal and non-formal educators teaching grades K-2. During this one-day workshop, you will become trained in the nationwide curriculum, Project Learning Tree! AT CAPACITY – Evening Family Fishing

THIS EVENT IS AT CAPACITY. Partner up with the Park Naturalist for an evening of trout fishing along the Delaware Canal! On Friday, April 15 from 5-7 PM, Learn about the different species of trout that live in PA, how to tie fishing knots, bait a hook, cast a fishing rod, and more! Equipment and bait will only be provided to families who register. A PA State fishing license is not required for families during the hours of this program.  Space is limited. Registration for this program is required by emailing mtruesdale@pa.gov by 12:00 noon on April 14.

April Book Club: Manufacturing Independence

In partnership with the Friends of Washington Crossing Park the March meeting of the Washington Crossing Historic Park Book Club is set for Monday, April 18, 2022 at 5:30 PM. Museum curator Kimberly McCarty will lead a discussion of the book club’s next selection: Manufacturing Independence: Industrial Innovation in the American Revolution by Robert F. Please keep in mind that these hikes are intended to maintain a quick hiking pace. Prepare yourself for the day by bringing a full water bottle, wearing sturdy shoes, and dressing for the weather!
