Witness American History Come to Life! Each December, thousands of people gather on the banks of the Delaware River to watch the reenactment of George Washington’s daring 1776 Christmas night river crossing. During the event, several hundred reenactors in Continental military dress listen to an inspiring speech by General Washington and then row across the river in replica Durham boats. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the May 2 Washington Crossing Spring Brewfest has been canceled. If you purchased tickets for the Spring Brewfest, please check your inbox for a message about how we’re handling refunds. This was to be our 10th annual Spring Brewfest, and we’re as disappointed as you are with its cancellation. This event has been canceled. Wine on the Waterfront returns to the banks of the Delaware River in Washington Crossing Historic Park (PA). The event will feature gourmet food, live jazz music, and one-ounce tastes of dozens of wines from a number of Pennsylvania wineries.
