8th Annual Spring Brewfest

The 8th annual Washington Crossing Spring Brewfest – which sells out every year – will be held on Saturday, May 5 from 12:30 to 4:30 PM in a wooded, riverside section of Washington Crossing Historic Park. The event features sampling of at least 130 beers from more than 60 regional and national breweries, live music and multiple food vendors. The brewfest is held in the upper part of the park (1638 River Road, New Hope), behind the Thompson-Neely House and across the street from Bowman’s Hill Wildflower Preserve. The second annual Washington Crossing Fall Brewfest will feature a wide range of ciders, sours and seasonal beers at Washington Crossing Historic Park on Saturday, October 27 from 12:30 PM to 4:30 PM in a wooded, riverside section of the park. First Crossing Reenactment

Each December, thousands of people gather on the banks of the Delaware River to watch the reenactment of George Washington’s daring 1776 Christmas night river crossing. During the event, several hundred reenactors in Continental military dress listen to an inspiring speech by General Washington and then row across the river in replica Durham boats. The first crossing reenactment of the year is set for Sunday, December 9, from 10 AM to 4 PM (actual crossing around 1 PM). The ninth annual Washington Crossing Spring Brewfest – which sells out every year – will be held on Saturday, May 4, from 12:30 to 4:30 PM in a wooded, riverside section of Washington Crossing Historic Park behind the Thompson-Neely House. The event features sampling of at least 130 beers from more than 60 regional and national breweries, live music and food vendors.
