Guided Bird Walks

Join the Park Naturalist for a slowly guided walk as we look and listen for migratory avian friends. Topics such as basic bird identification through sound and sight will be discussed. These programs are designed for toddlers ages 3-7 and build on children’s sense of wonder about nature, inviting them to explore wildlife and the world around them. Wheat and Sheep Day 2025

Washington Crossing Historic Park - Thompson-Neely Farmstead 1638 River Road, New Hope, United States

On Saturday, April 26 from 10 AM to 4 PM, watch as the Thompson-Neely sheep are shorn of their wool and tour the grist mill at this family friendly event. This limited event will include a trip to the barn for a hand shearing presentation as well as period demonstrations and tours of our historic Grist Mill.
