Fly Tying Basics: A Four-Part Program Series

Catching a fish on a hand tied fly that you made can be an extremely rewarding experience! Join the Park Naturalist for basic fly tying instruction and watershed education. Participants will develop and build upon new fly tying skills each week through hands-on instruction. All materials will be provided and participants will leave with the flies they tied. Hiking is a great way to improve your physical and mental health! Join the park naturalist for a quickly paced 2 mile hike along the trails of WCHP. Please keep in mind that these hikes are intended to maintain a quick hiking pace. Prepare yourself for the day by bringing a full water bottle, wearing sturdy shoes, and dressing for the weather. George Washington’s Birthday Party 2024

Come celebrate George Washington’s 292nd birthday on Sunday, February 18 from 11 AM to 2 PM at Washington Crossing Historic Park (PA)! During the day, various children’s activities will be offered. At 1:45 PM, visitors will gather in the park’s visitor center to sing happy birthday to George and watch him use his sword to cut his cake, which is donated by The Caketeria in Newtown.
